Dear Hazel and family; I just today learned of Ed's passing and am saddened by it. I worked for Ed for all 18 years of his stay at Mellon. He was the best manager and mentor I have had the privilege to serve with. His military background shown through but it was a great asset to him. He helped to create and lead one of the best technology organizations anywhere. He instituted processes and procedures long before others in the industry knew of their value. He was a most humble and a most articulate man. I have very fond memories of our days at Mellon and always appreciated the Christmas letter we would receive each year after you moved to Florida. I know he is in a better place and I pray for God's comfort and peace for you as you move into a new season of life. I am very grateful I had the opportunity to know him and believe his impact on my career was immeasurable. God Bless you all, Don Greb.

He will always be remembered as you share the stories and the memories of how he lived his life and how very much he meant, may you find comfort...And, throughout this difficult time, may you also know the deep sympathy and concern that is felt for you and all your family. I have fought the fine fight, I have run the course to the finish, I have observed the faith.-2Timothy 4:7. As for me, I will lie down that I may sleep; I shall certainly awake, for Jehovah himself keeps supporting me. -Psalms 3:5

God bless you all. I know he passed along with loving family near. I know how Karen spoke so proudly of him--she admired and respected him greatly. That is quite a testimony in itself. I pray for your comfort in this time and that you would remember the joyful moments from his life.
Blessings, Steve

To the Williams and Curry families: Please accept my deepest sympathies on the loss of another patriot and servant of our great nation. May your memories of his life bring you comfort and may you always cherish the times you spent in his company. For now that he has slipped the surly bonds of earth, he will surely look upon the face of God.
