Obituary of Michael Patrick Edmondson

Michael Patrick Edmondson, 59 of Sun City Center, FL, passed away on the evening of April 14, 2021, with his family by his side.  Michael was born in Philadelphia, PA and was a graduate of Edgewood High School. Michael attended Camden County College and the Institute of Finance in NY, which helped him become a well-respected financial advisor for over 30 years.  He was a past resident of West Berlin, Winslow and Shamong, NJ.

Michael was an avid golfer and enjoyed many great summers in Avalon and Long Beach Island with his family and friends.  Deep sea fishing was his passion as well as listening to music. He always said “Music is the essence of life.” Michael was also a passionate football fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. He was a season ticket holder for over 25 years and enjoyed many years of tailgating with his two sons and great friends.  Those two great words he would always say before the game “GO BIRDS”.

Michael is survived by his wife, Virginia Hurley-Edmondson. He was the son of the late Patrick and Joanne Edmondson.  He leaves behind two sons Mark (Chelsea) of Philadelphia, PA, and Kevin (Jacqueline) of Lakeland, FL, his brother John (Kim) of West Berlin, NJ, his loving granddaughter, Kristine, niece Amanda and nephew Brandon.  Also, his cousin Robert Buraczyk of Philadelphia, PA.  He was a loving father, husband and friend.
