Michael was often very affectionate with his sons as they were growing up. He frequently kissed them good-bye even if they were in public and not going anywhere special. I often told him that I admired that. I also have a brief but happy memory of a time Michael took me (his sister-in-law) for a ride in one of his new cars. He knew I love licorice, so he spontaneously stopped at a local place, (Pete's Market I think) and bought me a large bag of fresh, delicious licorice. I fondly remember many Cook/Edmondson get-togethers for various holidays and birthdays throughout the years too. I liked celebrating and spending time with his grandparents, aunts and uncles, mother, brother and his family and of course his immediate family and mine too. I am grateful that Michael got to meet his granddaughter and finally moved to his dream state, Florida. I regret that he didn't have more time to enjoy them both. As Michael often said, "It is what it is." Rest in peace. Say "Hi" to "Pops" for me. Nancy
