Obituary of Peter Max Hose

Hose, Peter Max, 85 of Sun City Center, Fla passed away on May 10, 2009. Born in Lehe, Germany, he immigrated to the United States of America in 1935 as a child. He became a naturalized citizen in 1943 and served as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II . He earned several Oak Leaf Clusters and the Distinguished Flying Cross during his term of service. After the war he attended The Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn and ultimately earned a Masters Degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He was a Tau Beta Pi. During the Korean Conflict he again served his country as an operations analyst for the Army Operations Research Office in conjunction with John Hopkins University. His worked for American Power Jet, Sylvania Electric Products, Mitre Corporation, and in Civil Service for the Air Force. He was a devoted and loving husband to his wife, Virginia. He is also survived by 2 daughters, Patricia and Amy, and son, Peter D., along with a grandson, Julio M., plus other loving family members. The family will receive friends 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, May 18, 2009 at Aston Gardens Courtyards for a short memorial service. Interment with Military Honors will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla on November 12, 2009. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's research or the cancer charity of your choice.
