Obituary of Eugene Skummer

Skummer, Eugene (Gene), 78 of Sun City Center, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at his residence with his loving family at his side. Born in Chicago, ILL on February 3, 1933, Gene was a retired General Manager. A U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, German American Club, loved to play golf and had 3 holes in one. Survivors include his wife Rosemary, daughters Lori Theresa (Steve) Ryan of Bolingbrook, ILL and Mary Katherine (Joe) Tooley of Jacksonville, FL, sister LaVerne Serritella of Bartlett, ILL and brother Robert Skummer of Mt. Prospect, ILL. Gene is also survived by 3 grandchildren. Inurnment will be a Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fl at a later date Arrangements are under the direction of Sun City Center Funeral Home, 1851 Rickenbacker Drive, Sun City Center, FL 33573.
