Obituary of James Edward Maloney

Maloney, James Edward, 85 of Sun City Center, passed away on August 6, 2011. Born in Maywood, ILL on October 27, 1925, Jim was a retired salesman for National Can Company. A World War 2 U. S. Navy Veteran, Jim was a member of V.F. W. Post 6287, Lions Club, volunteer with Sun City Center Security Patrol, a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife of 12 years Betty J. Maloney of Sun City Center, daughter Mary (Jerry) Frolik of Chicago, ILL, son James Patrick (Linda) Maloney of Atlanta, Ga., step son Richard ( Dinean) Benack of Pittsburgh, PA. Jim is also survived by 2 grandchildren, 4 Great-grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 10:00 AM and a visitation on Wednesday at Sun City Center Funeral Home 1851 Rickenbacker Drive, from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM. Burial will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida with Military Honors. In Lieu of Flowers memorial contributions can be made to Life Path Hospice, 3010 W.
