Obituary of Olive W. Cole

Olive W. Cole. 87 of Sun City Center, FL - a godly woman, loving mother and grandmother, went home to be with the Lord, Dec 4, 2011. She was born January 27, 1924, in Deerfield, MI. She moved to Florida with her husband in 1992. She was preceded in death by a loving husband, John Cole. She is survived by her son, Howard Cole, Augusta, ME, Patricia Stanley, of Sun City Center, FL, Alan Cole, of Ankeny, 10, also, grandchildren Benjamin Cole, Karis Cole, Katie LeMay, Jonathan Stanley, Robert Stanley, Matthew Cole, and Samuel Cole, also 10 great grandchildren. At the age of 18 Olive worked at Monroe Auto Equipment, MI for the Director of Purchasing. She played clarinet while touring with the Crill Women's Orchestra to the Army Camps during WWII where she met her husband John. After 18 months of letter writing from overseas, he proposed to her. Married 51 yrs, John and Olive served the Lord faithfully at Inter- City 'Baptist Church, Allen Park, MI for 38 years. John and Olive Cole owned Cole Distributing, Inc. of Allen Park, MI for 27 years. Olive Cole died as she lived, with family in her heart and Christ in her soul.
