Obituary of Edna Julia Beck

Beck, Edna Julia, 102 passed away June 21, 2009. She was preceded in death by her only son, Robert, who passed away in 2005. She is survived by her devoted husband, Richard, and they were married for 72 years. She is also survived by four grandchildren, seven great-grand children, a daughter-in-law, and several very special loving friends. Originally from New Jersey, Edna worked for Crowell-Collier Publishing Company and W.T. Grant's Department Store. She played the pipe organ and taught Sunday school for the Second United Presbyterian Church in Jersey City. Moving to Sun City Center 37 years ago, she volunteered for many community service organizations. Edna was a long-time member of Needlecrafters and St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, where she received the Honorary Life Membership of Presbyterian (USA) Women. A Memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday June 27, 2009 at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church 1239 Del Webb Blvd. West, Sun City Center, Fl 33573.
