Obituary of Robert Smellegar

Smellegar, Robert J., 72, of Wimauma, Fla passed away November 23, 2009. He served in the U.S. Navy and retired as stationary engineer from Rockland County Health Complex in Pomona, New York. He was member of the New Florida Region Model A Club and served for many years on the Sundance Community Association. He was preceded in death by his son, Jay Smellegar. Survivors include his wife, Jan, a daughter, Lori (Mark) Holdren, a daughter in law, Laurie Smellegar, two grandchildren, Brianne and Shawn, a brother, William Smellegar, three sisters, Ruth (Art) Astone, Alvina (Ronald) Lewis and Dot Boyle and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 pm. Saturday, November 28, 2009 at the funeral home.
