Obituary of Marilyn Tolar

Marilyn Greene Tolar, 83 of Sun City Center, FL went to the arms of her Lord on April 25, 2010 after a brief illness, She was born in Brockport, NY on April 28, 1926 to Harry and Ruth Greene. She came to Miami, Fl at the age of 21 and remained in Florida the rest of her life. She moved to Sun City Center in 1988 after the death of her beloved husband Pete Tolar. She was a member of Simmons Loop Baptist Church in Riverview, Fl where she had many faithful friends who made her last years' very special. She is survived by an older sister, Virginia Wright of Utica, NY, three children; Tom Tolar of Bradenton, Fl; Randee Winterbottom (Charlie) of Tallahassee, Fl, and Scott Tolar (Jenny) of Cedartown, GA; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. The family has requested donations be made to Lifepath Hospice, 3725 Upper Creek Dr. Ruskin, Fl 33573 or Simmons Loop Baptist church, 6610 Simmons Loops, Riverview, Florida 33578 Memorial Services will be held at Simmons Loop Baptist church 3PM Saturday, May 1, 2010
