Obituary of Paul J. Czapar

Paul Joseph Czapar., 88, of Sun City Center, Fl, passed away on December 5, 2011. He was born on March 6, 1923, the son of Margaret and John Czapar in Chicago, IL. Paul was very sentimental and had a deep love for his God, country, wife and family. He served proudly as a combat army infantryman in World War II and was severely wounded in the fierce battle at Monte Casino, Italy. He was awarded two bronze stars for heroism under fire and many purple hearts. . He retired as a Postal Carrier for the United States Postal Service and was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church Paul is preceded in death by his wife, Aida Czapar in February 2006 and his four brothers, John, George, Charles and William. Survivors include his beloved sister, Muncie Norman of Arlington Heights, Ill, and loving nieces, Nancy, Cathy, Lynn, Peggy, Pat, Mary and Carol and nephew, George and his two faithful friends, Dorothy Nichols and Dave Weber. Burial with Military Honors will be at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia. The family requests memorials be made in his name to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O.
