Obituary of Ronald Eugene Scott

Scott, Ronald E., 63, of Ruskin, Fla passed away August 8, 2008. He served in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy during the Viet Nam Conflict and worked for Brown and Root in Texas for 23 years. He was a member and a Master Mason of Cedar Bayou Lodge # 231 in Baytown, Texas. He moved to Florida in 1997 and was a member and deacon of the Northside Baptist Church in Ruskin, Fla. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tullos P. and Amanda Scott, a son, Stephen Findlay, two brothers, Glen and Billy Scott, and two sisters, Mable Proffitt and Dorothy Wefelmeyer. Survivors include his loving wife of 32 years, Roseanne, three daughters, Rhonda Ivester, Joyce Ann Blanchard, and Charlene Walker, a son, Michael Radosin, three loving sisters, Ida Lou White, Edna Langston, and Frances Whittaker, two brothers, Richard Scott and Leroy Scott, and 8 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, August 16, 2008 at Northside Baptist Church, 1301 N. Tamiami Trail, U.S. Hwy 41, Ruskin, Fla. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, the American Diabetes Association or Donor's Favorite Charity.
