Obituary of Kathryn E. Helmke

Kathryn Helmke, of Wimauma, FL, passed away May 22, 2009. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Milton Helmke, her daughters Mary Ellen Evard (Erv) of Ft Wayne, In.; Dianna Helmke of Wimauma, FL; 6 Grand Children, 11 Great-Grand Children, 2 Step-Grand Children and 3 Step-Great Grand Children. Proceeded in death by son, James Helmke. Kathryn was born in Decatur, IN on August 16, 1923. She and her family moved to Florida in 1958 from Ft. Wayne, IN. She enjoyed many passions including cooking, baking, painting, crafts and sewing. She worked in the home health care industry and was a volunteer at South Bay Hospital for many years. She was a charter member of Calvary Lutheran Church. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 28 @ 2:00 PM, at Calvary Lutheran Church.
