Obituary of Melvin St. John

Melvin E. St. John, 75 of Ruskin, Fla passed away at his residence October 13, 2009. He retired as a Technical Sergeant from the United States Air Force after 21 years of service. He was a 40 year member of the De Soto Lodge # 105 F & AM and a cubmaster and scoutmaster of Pack 661 and Troop 661 for 18 years. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Elizabeth St. John, a daughter, Donna St. John, two sons, David St. John and his wife, Vickie and Jason St. John and his wife, Jannie, eight grandchildren, Brianne and Emily Gregory, Adam Ignacio, Rebecca and Erica St. John, Casey and Kayla Swint and Peyton St.John and a great granddaughter, Ella Yslas. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A memorial service and a Masonic service with Military honors will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Sun City Center Funeral Home, 1851 Rickenbacker Drive, Sun City Center, Florida.
