Obituary of Donald R.

Donald R. Gue., 76, of Sun City Center, Fla passed away May 11, 2009. He was life member of the following organizations, Swartz Creek Lodge # 458, Life Member of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite in the Valley of Bay City, Michigan, Elf Khurafeh Shrine Temple in Saginaw, Michigan, Shriner Crippled Childrens' Hospital in Chicago, IL, Past Patron of the Order of Eastern Star, Star Chapter #430, Advisory Council Order of DeMolay, Swartz Creek, Michigan, and Commander of the Moslem Temple Flying Club in Detroit, Michigan, Quiet Birdman Tampa Hanger, and the AOPA Pilot Association. He was past president and CEO of the Suburban Flyers, Lt. Colonel of the Civil Air Patrol, U.S. Air Force Auxillary and a Notary Public in the county of Genessee, in the State of Michigan. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Sun City Center, Florida, Kings Point West Lawn Bowling Club and the Falcon Watch Golf Club. He retired from General Motors in the Parts Division in 1985 and was a member of the U.A.W. Local #659. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Beatrice Gue, and three brothers, George, Harold and Barron Gue and his sister, Carole Gonzales. Survivors include his wife. Marcia, two daughters, Bonnie L. Bartlett and her husband, Richard, and Melinda L. Mueller and her husband, Wolfgang, a brother, Dr. Robert L. Gue and his wife, Barbara, a grandson, Dennis Ryan Brandon, two granddaughters, Brooke Kathleen Brandon and her fiancé, Randy Lee Clayton, II and Kerra Elise Mueller, a great grandson, Randy Lee Clayton, III and two great granddaughters, Daegen Leigh Clayton and Mariah Jolie Brandon, and, two brothers-in-law, Bennie L. May and his wife, Faith and Kennie A. May and his wife, Reginia, and a sister-in-law, Shirley Hamrick and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the Sun City Center United Methodist Church, 1210 Del Webb Boulevard West, Sun City Center, Florida.
