Obituary of Dru Goodwin

Myron D. Goodwin (Dru), 74, of Sun City Center passed on to heaven on July 21, 2008. He was born in Gary, Indiana and moved to Florida from Illinois after retiring from Firestone Tire and Rubber Company. He is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn, daughters Terri, Tina, Shellie, Nicole, and Alicia, sons Michael and Derek, 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 1 brother and 3 sisters. Dru served his country as a US Marine in the Korean War. He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church where he served as an usher and was on the Parish Council. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, American Legion, and the Gumdippers (retired Firestone employees). The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM, Thursday, July 24, at the Sun City Center Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, July 25 at Prince of Peace Church in Sun City Center.
