Obituary of Gertrude Helen Haney

Gertrude Helen Haney, 87 of Sun City Center, Fl, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at her residence with her family at her side. Born in Baltimore, Maryland on August 5, 1923, Gertrude was a retired Accounts Payable Clerk. She was employed by Koons Ford in Falls Church, Va. Gertrude was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps serving in World War II. She is preceded in death by her husband James Edison Haney (October 19, 1987). Survivors include her sons James H. (Priscilla) Haney of Sun City Center, Fl, and Robert E. (Nancy) Haney of Gulf Breeze, Fl. Gertrude is also survived by 4 grandchildren Ed, Ken, Katie and Heather and a great-grandchild Preston. Graveside Service will be held at Arlington National Cemetery with Military Honors by the U.S. Marine Corps on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. Arrangements are under the direction of Sun City Center Funeral Home, Sun City Center, Florida.
