Obituary of Walter Donald Hill

Walter D. Hill, "Wally" 82, of Sun City Center, Fla passed away May 13, 2011. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and retired as business manager for the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Boston Pops in Tanglewood, MA. He served as financial manager for the Oregon Coast Music Association for 10 years and as treasurer for the Coalition of Mental Health and Aging in Sun City Center, Fla for many years. Survivors include his wife, Gloria, two sons, Elliot Hill and Ted (Mimi) Hill, a daughter, Alexis Hill, four grandchildren, Nathan and Christina Smith, Nicholas and Jeannie Hill, three step sons, Doug (Donna) Anderson, Kevin (Michelle) Anderson, Paul Abel and a step daughter, Cathi (Michael) Sands, five step grandchildren, Jessica (Lionel) O'Brien, Jake and Lucas Anderson, and Mary, Andrew and Laura Sands, and two step great grandchildren, Meike and Jed O'Brien. Funeral service with Military Honors will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Sun City Center Funeral Home. 1851 Rickenbacker Drive, Sun City Center, Florida. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
