Obituary of Donald W. Royer

Royer, Donald W., 83, of Ruskin, Fla returned to his Maker on Wednesday, February 4, 2009. He was born on July 1, 1925 in Duluth, Minnesota the son of the late Wilfred and Anna Royer. He moved to Florida 14 years ago after retiring from the Connecticut office of the Pepperidge Farm division of Campbell Soup, Inc. In addition to his parents, Mr. Royer was preceded in death by a nephew and a grand nephew. He is survived by his wife of more than 55 years, Patricia C. Royer and his children, Catherine Letskus and her husband, John of Bear, DE, Marguerite Parisi and her husband, Ronald of Middletown, DE, Virginia Johnson of Winston Salem, NC, Barbara Henschel and her husband, Wayne of Elizabethtown, PA, Nancy Pike and her husband, Greg of Broadbrook, CT, Paula Royer of King, NC, Laura Parisi and her husband, T.J. of Dedham, MA and James Royer of Littleton, MA, 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Mr. Royer is also survived by his younger brother's family, Frank and Gaylene Royer of Bradenton, Fla and 2 nieces and 2 grand nieces. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday February 16, 2009. at St. Anne Catholic Church, Ruksin, Florida. Interment will be at Manasota Memorial Park, Bradenton, Fla.
