Obituary of Frank L. Kelly

Francis Leonard "Frank" Kelly, 82 of Sun City Center, Fla passed away March 7, 2011. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as quartermaster serving on P.T. Boats. He was orginally from Waukegan, IL, he ran the family hardware business from 1947 to 1958. He was a salesman for most of his life, mostly as a sales representative for the Coleman Company. He has lived in Bowling Green, KY and Wichita, KS before retiring to Sun City Center, Fla. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. In his later years, he took up golf and traveling. He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Fay Lindahl Kelly, his twin brother, Hugh, sister, Mrs. Donna Heyer and a grandson, JoeKelly Walton as well as his parents, Hugh and Grace. Survivors include his loving wife of 13 years, Betty, a son, Patrick (Debra) Kelly of Port St Lucie, Fla, two daughters, Lynne (Joe) Walton and Colleen Brown both of Bowling Green, KY, three brothers, Bernard Kelly of Alameda, CA, Ronnie (Nancy) Kelly of Apple Valley, MN and Jerry (Anna Marie) Kelly of Wauconda, IL, three grandchildren, Ted Kelly of Florida, Meredith Kelly of Oregon and Jeromy Walton of Bowling Green, KY and one great granddaughter, Lexi Walton of Bowling Green, KY and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 702 Valley Forge Boulevard, Sun City Center, Fla.
