Obituary of Franklin L. Barnett

Barnett, Franklin L., 73, of Sun City Center, Fla. passed away February 1, 2009 in Sun City Center, Fla. He was born May 11, 1935 in Florence Villa, Florida. He served 3 years in the Army, was a Tampa native, retired from GNB Battery Technologies after 40 years of service, he lived in Columbus, GA for 26 years where he was a member of Midland Masonic Lodge and was active in Church and Homeowners Associations. His hobbies included camping and traveling. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carrie, daughters, Debbie (Steve), Sandy (Jim), son David (Barbara), 9 grandchildren, sister, Allene Goding (Chuck), brothers, Everett (Sylvia), Edison (Pat) and a large extended family. He was preceded in death by sisters, Maralene and Dottie. A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM, Saturday, February 7, 2009 at Trinity Baptist Church, 702 Del Webb Boulevard, West, Sun City Center, Fla. 33573.
