Obituary of Paul Warren Coman

Coman, Paul W., 69 of Sun City Center, FL passed away May 13, 2010. He retired as a salesman for Longwood Elastomers. Paul was the son of E. Stanton Coman and Mary E. Flint Coman. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Patricia, three sons, Pastor Michael (Donna) Coman, Curtis (Catherine) Coman and Joel (Rhonda) Coman, a brother, G. Rogers Coman, a sister, Stanna L. Wells, four grandchildren, Emma, Stanton, Sam and Claire Coman and his mother-in-law, E. Inez "Pat" Bowman. Paul met his wife in 2nd grade at North Adams Elementary School and they both played the roles as bride and groom in the play "Tom Thumb". However, on the day of their real wedding, when they were about to say their vows, the minister asked if either of them had ever been married before and the couple replied "Yes". Everyone attending laughed, as they understood the joke of being the bride and groom in the grade school play. Paul was an active citizen in his community, participating in many local activities. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, July 10, 2010 at the North Adams Baptist Church in North Adams, Michigan. Son Michael will conduct the service. Another service will be held on November 13, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. at the Little Manatee Park in Wimauma, FL.
