Obituary of Paul L. Somerville

Somerville, Paul L., 87, of Sun City Center, Fla passed away April 4, 2011. Paul was born in Odin, IL on June 28, 1923. After serving in the Army during World War II, he moved to Tampa, Fla in 1951 where he was in the Insurance Business for 35 years before retiring to Sun City Center in 1989. He was active in the American Legion and the V.F.W. for many years. He was a former member of the Land O'Lakes Sertoma Club and Sun City Center Men's Chorus, his wit and humor will be sorely missed. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Roberta, two sons, Larry (Debbie) Somerville and David Somerville, four grandchildren, Marcie (Lennie) Willis, Scott and Meghan Somerville and Jason (Anne) McQuiniff, a brother, Billy Gillum, and a sister, Patsy Combs. A memorial service with Military Honors will be held 2 pm Wednesday April 13, 2011 at Sun City Center Funeral Home, 1851 Rickenbacker Drive, Sun City Center, Fla. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Metropolitan Ministries. Interment Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla
