Obituary of Jeanette B. White

White, Jeanette B. 97, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on March 28, 2011. She was born July 25, 1913 to John M. Hacker and Marvel Moore Hacker. Jeanette is preceded in death by the love of her life of 64 years Roland T. White. Also preceded in death by sisters Eleanor Davis Robertson of Michigan, Beatrice Lundy of AZ, Mildred Schmidt of MI. Jeanette is preceded in death by 3 children Melvin, Robert and Jeanette Martin. Mrs. White is survived by a sister Verna Mills of Georgia, a brother Gordon Hacker of Alabama, surviving children Roland Jack (Marilyn) of Tampa, Marvel (Kitty) Marson of MI., and daughter-in-law Vivien White of MI. Jeanette is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 6great-great-grandchildren. Jeanette was a student at Berkley, MI, and was a bible study student and teacher. She was an accomplished student and teacher of many home arts. Her proficiency in sewing, crocheting, upholstering, cooking and baking, served her family and church limitlessly. She was a Blue Star Mother and a member of Causeway Baptist Church, Tampa. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Sun City Center Funeral Home, Sun City Center and family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to hour of service.
