Obituary of Cleo Patra Hammonds

Cleo Patra Hammonds, passed away November 19, 2011 in Tampa, Fl. She was born December 1, 1924 in Fairmont, Robson County, NC. Cleo moved to Lake Placid, FL in 1961, and has lived in Tampa since 2001 with her daughter Deborah Lynn Kirkpatrick and her husband, Dennis. She was preceded in death by her husband John C. Hammonds, and two grandsons, Jay "Jay Bird" Hudson, and John "Eddie K" Kirkpatrick. Survivors include her daughters Sharion Hudson of Lake Placid, Fl, Deborah Lynn Kirkpatrick of Tampa, Fl. and Marylin Alexander of Tampa, two sons, Frankie Hammonds of Colorado, Eddie "Skeeter" Hammonds of Tampa and a granddaughter, Jasmine Hammonds and a great granddaughter, Britteny Hudson. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at Chandler Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at the Chandler Funeral Home, 125 East Park Street, Lake Placid, Fla.
