Obituary of Kurt Schuldt

Kurt R. Schuldt was born September 25, 1940, in Chicago, IL to Rudolph and Rosalie (nee Wilhelm) Schuldt.   He died Wednesday, January 24, 2024, in Sun City Center, FL.

Mr. Schuldt was the owner of Maintenance Coatings Company in South Elgin, IL for 30 years.  Kurt was a member of Illinois Road - Transportation Builders Association and American Traffic Safety Services Association.  He loved to play golf, build boat models and woodworking. Kurt loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and was loved by all.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary Suzanne, (nee Hand); children, Janet (Deacon Pete) LeTourneau, Jeffrey (Colleen) Schuldt and Julie Wrightsman (Louis Gallucci), Cara (late Mark) Schuldt; grandchildren Emily (Jon) Gilliam, Andrew (Amanda Sanchez) LeTourneau, Annmarie (fiancé Jeremy Steiner), Katherine and Mary Elise Wrightsman, Trace (Cara) and Allison Schuldt, Madeline (fiancé Adrien Maas), Ella and Abby Schuldt; his sister Gail Panzer and niece Karen Schuster.  Kurt is preceded into death by his parents, his son Mark, daughter Sandra and nephew Gary.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am, on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, 440 South Mitchell Avenue, Arlington Heights, IL 60005. Interment will be at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
