Obituary of Laurence Albert Shabe

Laurence Albert Shabe (89), born Oct 2, 1934 in Queens, NY. A resident of Sun City Center, FL, formerly of Columbia, MD.

He was a man of many skills and interests: certified master diver, woodworker, fishermen, and boating to mention a few. He also enjoyed teaching his children the art of clamming, crabbing and fishing while camping on the Chesapeake Bay and on the Atlantic Ocean.

He is survived by his 9 children: Larry (Nancy), Terry, Jackie (Peppy) Perry, Marion Keeler, Janice, Michelle (Brad) Fisher, Dorothy Cordero, John, and Frances (Chuck) Manz; 21 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Jack (Carol) Shabe of Bradenton.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Sun City Center, FL, on Friday, December 15 at 10am. Laurence will be laid to rest following the mass at Lake Wimauma Cemetery on December 15 at 11:30am. 

The funeral will also be live-streamed.
