Obituary of Betty Atkins Craig

Betty Craig, 95, of Kings Point, Sun City Center passed away November 22, 2023, at Magnolia Senior Living.

Born in Bennington Vermont and raised in Hartland Vermont. Betty was a very active, creative, and loving individual. She loved music and painting. She participated in the choir and painting club at Kings Point. Her warm and wonderful smile and charming spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.

Betty is survived by her sibling Deana Dana, four sons Daniel, David, Michael, Mark Craig, and daughter Anna Barton, eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents Merrill Atkins and Jane McArthur, husband James Craig and her siblings Franklin and Merrill Atkins and Nancy Combs.

Betty’s viewing will be Wednesday, December 6, 2023, 10:30a to 12:30p at Sun City Center Funeral Home with the interment at 2p at Sarasota National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lifepath Hospice Sun City Center or Alzheimer’s Association.
