Obituary of Wayne Edward Malone

Wayne Edward Malone, 70, of Sun City Center passed away November 6th, 2023 at James Haley Veterans’ Hospital in Tampa, Florida. Born in Red Bay Alabama, Wayne relocated to Dover, New Hampshire where he was raised along side his 7 brothers until joining the United States Army. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents Marilyn and Dominic Caligiure, his brothers Dominic Caligiure, Joseph Caligiure, Carman Caligiure and Peter Caligiure. Wayne is survived by his remaining brothers Carlton Malone, Rodney Malone, Michael Caligiure, his loving wife Shellie Malone, children Tanja Malone, Christina Malone-Johnson, Jason Fenton and grandchildren Dominique Johnson, Chauntel Johnson, Kayla Fenton and Zoe Malone.

Wayne was an extremely hardworking, detailed oriented man who spoke his mind. His determination and strong work ethic served him well in his career as a master welder. Wayne’s strong personality was softened by the love of his wife, children, grandchildren and especially by his dog Peaches! Wayne and his wife spent their later years in Florida escaping the harsh New England winters. He took pride in his home and enjoyed taking his family to the Disney parks, with an arrival time of 5am SHARP!

Wayne’s memorial service will be held Monday, November 20th at 2pm at the National Cemetery in Sarasota, Florida. Wayne did not believe in flowers, so in lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to: https://veteransadvocacyservices.org
