Beverly Fletchall

Obituary of Beverly Fletchall

Beverly Fletchall peacefully slipped away on November 2, 2023, to be with her heavenly Father. There are no words that can adequately describe the extent of the impact Beverly had on those who had the honor and privilege of knowing her. She was always the first to actively volunteer for a position to help others. She was the perfect example of what the bible describes as “a tower of strength”, a committed Christian who put her faith into action.

Beverly taught elementary school for five years after graduating cum laude from Jacksonville University.

Caring about the welfare of others, Beverly served her church in many ways throughout her 31 years of membership at Big Bend United Methodist Church, now South Shore United Methodist Church.

When living in Jacksonville, FL, before moving to Tampa, Beverly was an avid golfer. She was president of the Deerwood Women’s Golf Association. She had a hole in one on #17 of the Deerwood Golf Course and was champion of the Deerwood Women’s Golf Association in 1983.

Serving the South Shore area of Tampa, where she lived for 31 years, Beverly helped many in need through her church and organizations she belonged to: Apollo Beach Woman’s Club, Sun City Center Woman’s Club, and American Association of University Women. Beverly is a past president of Apollo Beach Woman’s Club and American Association of University Women.

Beverly is survived by her beloved husband of 73 years, Don, daughters, Dona Holloway and Karen Wilkins; grandchildren, Lauren Winter, Heather Forensky, Jamie Wilkins and Alan Hollaway, and three great grandchild

Celebration of Beverly’s life will be determined at a later date.
