Sandra Papa

Obituary of Sandra Papa

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sandie Papa, who left us at the age of 80, surrounded by the love of her family.  Sandie, originally from Pittsburgh, PA, recently called Sun City, FL home, finding joy in her residence at Valencia Lakes

Sandie is survived by her loving sons Larry Franks and Howard Puterman, and their respective wives Amy Franks and Kate Puterman. She will be forever remembered by her adoring grandchildren Loren, Rachel, Sophie, Anthony, and Nicole. Sandie is also survived by her dear sister Eileen Samuels.

Predeceased by her beloved parents, Anne and Larry, Sandie leaves behind a legacy of warmth, adventure, and unwavering love.

A globetrotter at heart, Sandie's adventurous spirit took her to numerous corners of the world, from the vibrant landscapes of India to the breathtaking beauty of Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Alaska, Europe, and Aruba. Yet, her favorite retreat, was undoubtedly her son Howard's villa in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where memories of joy and laughter were created.

Professionally, Sandie excelled as a Real Estate Broker for over 30 years, demonstrating a drive and passion that set her apart. Her generosity and thoughtfulness illuminated every room she entered, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

As we mourn the loss of a remarkable woman, let us celebrate Sandie's life—a life rich in travel, success, and above all, love. May her memory continue to shine brightly in our hearts.

Funeral arrangements will be shared with family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Moffitt Cancer Center.

Rest in peace, dear Sandie. You will be profoundly missed. #InLovingMemory #SandiePapa #CelebratingALifeWellLived
