Obituary of Jay Joseph Ruble
Jay Joseph Ruble (JJ), 53, of Apollo Beach Florida, suddenly passed away on October 28th, 2023.
He was born and raised in south New Jersey. He graduated from Northwood University (Midland MI) with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1993 and was a key member of the Alpha Rho Mu business fraternity as well.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Carolyn Ruble. Jay is survived by his father, Joseph R. Ruble; Brothers, Joseph W. Ruble (Lisa); John Ruble (Christine); James Ruble (Sue); Jeffrey Ruble (Tracy); Sister, Theresa Smith (Brian). Jay was a revered uncle to many nephews and nieces; Nephews: Joey, Jim, John; Ryan, Drew, Thomas, Jeffrey, Charles, and Jack; and Nieces, Jessica, Mary, Courtney, Jamie, Jennifer, and Megan. Jay is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, that hail from Fremont, Ohio and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania who are very supportive and loved him dearly.
Jay began his professional career after Northwood with Safety Kleen Corporation in New Jersey. He then dedicated the rest of his career to Sun Oil Company as an Area Manager in the in NJ/NY area market and subsequently the Southern States. His customers always respected his transparency, commitment, and urgency. Jay was an extremely skilled project manager and always made sure he had the right tools to tackle any task asked of him. He enjoyed spending time on the water at his home in Apollo Beach.
He was a dedicated caregiver to his parents Joseph and Carolyn. Jay was a devoted son, phenomenal brother, wonderful Uncle, entrusted colleague, and great friend to all who knew him. A private family service will be held at a later date.
