Obituary of Norine J Haase

Norine J. Haase (nee Fricke) passed away peacefully on January 21, 2023 at the age of 90.
Norine was a loving mother to her daughter Jill Hentzen (Steve) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, son Scott
(Tracey) of Apollo Beach, Florida, and cherished grandmother of 7 grandchildren, Emma, Andrew, Claire,
Ben, Rachael, Abby and Sara. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, John F. Haase.
Norine was born in Boscobel, Wisconsin on August 16, 1932. After high school graduation she attended
UW-Platteville and earned her teaching degree in 1954. Norine worked as an elementary school teacher
for many years in Beloit, Wisconsin and Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. She married John F. Haase in 1960 and
raised their 2 children in Brookfield, Wisconsin, Sydney, Ohio and Munster, Indiana. In 2000, Norine and
John retired to sunny Florida and settled in the Sun City Center community. Norine loved spending time
with family and especially her seven grandchildren. She also enjoyed walking, exercise classes, quilting
and card games with her many friends. She was also an active member of St. Andrew Presbyterian
Church. We will all miss her kind spirit and sweet, caring nature that touched many throughout her life.
A memorial service will be held on February 3, 2023 at 10:00 am at St. Andrew Presbyterian
Church.
