Obituary of Herlinda Guajardo

Herlinda DeLeon was born November 17, 1929. She was born and raised in San Benito, Texas. Herlinda married Victoriano Guajardo on January 12, 1952 and together they had 14 children, 6 boys and 8 girls, who gave them numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. In the late 60s, early 70s they moved to Ruskin, Florida where they raised their family and all still reside today. Victor passed away March 7, 1984 leaving Herlinda, who never remarried, to raise the children alone. Herlinda was a home maker and raised her children and grandchildren well into her late 70s. She loved them all so very much. Herlinda was a devout Catholic and a long time member of St. Anne Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, caring for her grandchildren and shopping. She was quite the fashionista. Herlinda will be missed dearly by her family and those in the community who knew her. At the age of 90, Herlinda DeLeon Guajardo passed away peacefully at home on March 17, 2020 surrounded by loved ones.
