Obituary of Charles Reid Samuels

Charles “Reid” Samuels, age 75, passed away at the Sun City Center Hospice House in Sun City Center on September 9, 2019. He was retired from Caterpillar in Riverview as a generator tech. Reid was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to Charles F. Samuels and Letha Bennett Samuels. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers Eugene Fullen, Alan K. Samuels and newphe Charles A. Samuels. Surviving family is his wife, Jo Hudnall Samuels from Wimauma, daughters Lisa (Daniel) Wetherington and Allison Dearth; granddaughters, Brittany (David) Wilson and Kayla Cole; great grandchildren, Lucia Wilson, Tyler Harris and Jasiah Wilson; sister, Pamela (Robert) Youngblood from Texas, nephew Alan Samuels and nieces Sherri Jacobs and Tina Kellums. Reid was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and will be buried with Full Military Honors at Bushnell National Cemetery.
