My friend Dorothy was a humanitarian and a good christian catholic, her love for God, her family, and friends, was her first priority. Dorothy served god on the altar as a Eucharistic minister at her beloved parish at StAnn in LansingIl before she moved to Florida. Dorothy was always working to help the poor we always helped the Knights of Columbus with all their fundraisers, and she was a wonderful friend and loving co worker and neighbor, anyone who met Dorothy loved her quiet, compassionate nature, she was fun loving and loved her ballroom dancing, she now dances for Jesus in Heaven watching over all of us. She was a diamond, that sparkled for God, and I miss her terribly rest in peace

Dorothy Komlanc was a very generous woman, she was my dearest friend, a woman of God, who served on the altar, as a Eucharistic minister, in her church, at St Ann Parish in Lansing, IL. She assisted the Knights of Columbus, in many fundraisers, raising money for the poor, always praying for those in need, she was a wonderful humanitarian, and my family loved her so dearly. She was very much a part of our life, we rode the train together, went out to eat, and church, I was her sponsor when she became Catholic, we spoke everyday on the phone when she moved to Florida, she retired, and was so loved by everyone she knew, her friendship was like a diamond, my heartfelt sympathy to all her family, especially Tom and Pat who I love dearly She will be missed on this planet,a true angel, and a true Christian, a friend that I will never replace, cherished by all God bless you Dorothy rest in peace

My deepest condolences to Dorothy's family. Dorothy was the sweetest and kindest person in the world. As quiet and meek as she was you would never think she had a funny bone in her body, but that was not so. She loved to laugh and when she did her cute little laugh would make me laugh more. I will never forget having dinner at her house with the two priests from her church St. Ann's in Lansing, IL. Now that was a hoot or was it the wine! We already have been missing you Dorothy since you left to FL and I know your ears were ringing when we spoke of you in the Chicago office. But now you will be able to hear all the nice things said about you up in heaven. Thank you Dorothy for being my friend.
Love,
Patty & Doug Newton
P.S. Doug remembers you too and the rickety trailer he always worried if you would stay warm. You warmed our hearts Dorothy!
