Obituary of Therese J. Parks

Therese J.  Parks, 87, of Sun City Center, FL passed away April 6, 2019. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Therese was a Nurse for the Veterans Administration for many years in Bath, NY and Gainesville, FL. She also worked as a Public School Teacher. When she retired with Nelson to Sun City Center in 1981 she became an active member of the Sun City Center Security Patrol.

Survivors include her loving husband Nelson of 65 years, two sons, Brian Parks and Brett (Anna) Parks, grandson Trevor, and step- granddaughter, Maylin Tennis, and many friends.

A visitation will be held at 3:00 – 5:00 pm, Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Sun City Center Funeral Home, Sun City Center, FL.

She will be laid to rest at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia, South Carolina.
