Obituary of Alton Leland Riker

Alton Leland “Lee” Riker, 76 of Balm, departed this life on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2018, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s.  He was born November 30, 1941, in Bradenton, the son of Clinton and Ethel Riker.  Lee is survived by his wife Bebe, daughters Brenda Johnson (Clayton) Riverview, Shari Storch (Matt) Balm, son Wesley of Balm; grandsons Cody (Madison), Colby, Brady, Casey, Chase; great-grandchildren Mackenzie and Caden; a brother David (Ursula) Oak Grove, MO., and sister-in-law Loraine (Palmetto).  He was preceded in death by his sister Jesslyn King (Dick) and brothers Lewis, Donald, and Everett.  Lee retired from Hillsborough County Schools in 2004.  A graveside service will be held at 12:30 P.M. Monday, Oct. 22, 2018, at Alafia Cemetery, Lithia, Fla.
