Obituary of Joseph Philip Stassi

Joseph P. Stassi, 84, of Wimauma, Fla and formerly of Clifton, New Jersey passed away May 26, 2018. He served in the United States Army and retired from United Airlines as an aircraft maintenance mechanic after 43 years of service. He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Sun City Center, Fla. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Mildred, two daughters, Deborah S. Lammens and her husband, James, and Denise S. Hofbauer and her husband, Peter, a son, Joseph P. Stassi and his wife, Glenda, two grandchildren, Tara Hofbauer and Maxwell Hofbauer and his sister and brother-in-law, Ann Aiello and her husband, Edward. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm with a wake service at 7 pm on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Sun City Center Funeral Home, 1851 Rickenbacker Drive, Sun City Center, Fla. Funeral Mass with military honors will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 702 Valley Forge Boulevard, Sun City Center, Fla.
