Obituary of Barbara R. Henshaw

HENSHAW, Barbara R. of Sun City Center,Passed away November 15, 2008. She is survived by her husband Ted, three sons; Bruce, Tulsa, OK, Dave, Bradenton, Fl, Allan, Houston,TX and a daughter Robin, Fredricksburg, VA.Six grandchildren; Liz, Charlie, Cody, Casey,Dillon and Caitlin. Also surviving are her sister, Suze and her brother-in-law Bill Henshaw(brother of Ted). Barb spent many years living abroad beginning in Hawaii where she witnessed the attack on Pearl Harbor while attending the Punaho School in Oaho. With husband Ted she lived in Trinidad, Dutch Guiana, England and Saudi Arabia. Barb put a Bachelor of Science Degree from St. Lawrence University to good Use home-schooling her children while living abroad and later, teaching in Virginia. An avid golfer, lawn bowler and swimmer, Barb found time to serve as a First Responder on the Emergency Squad and drive for the Security Patrol. A family service will take place in Kenscio, Valhalla, NY on Wednesday November 26, 2008
