Obituary of George Dumond

Dumond, George E., 64, of Riverview, Fla passed away May 25, 2008. He was born August 13, 1943 in St. David, Maine to Leo and Lily (nee Ouellette) Dumond. He was a truck driver for Albertsons and a Past Grand Knight of Council # 5779 in South Windsor, CT. and volunteered as an Assistant Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop # 105 in Hartford, CT. He served in the National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Lily Dumond, and his brother, Armond. Survivors include his wife, Bernadette, a daughter, Doreen Knowles and her husband, Elton and a son, Brian Dumond, two brothers, Maurice and David and his wife, Paula, a sister, Lucy Cyr and her husband, Raymond, and three grandchildren, Katie, James and Trevor Knowles. A memorial service will be held at a later date in South Windsor, Connecticut. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Lung Association.
