Obituary of Judith A. Ulrich

Ulrich, Judith A., 75 passed away the 27th December, 2007 She was the daughter of the late H. Glyndon Burkhart and Margaret Porter, and was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. Judy had one brother, Charles (Happy), who preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, John Ulrich, four sons, and a daughter. They are: E. David Brown of Indianapolis, Indiana, Gregory D. Brown of Talladega, Alabama, Charles R. Brown of Gilbert, Arizona, Julie Ann Fitch of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Timothy M. Ulrich of Talcott, West Virginia. She had ten grandchildren, and six great grandchildren, two sons, Gerald Brown and Mark Brown, preceded her in death. Judy graduated from Howe High School, in Indianapolis, In 1950, and later attended Indiana University where she received a B.S. degree in adult education. She worked in adult education from 1979 until her retirement in 1994. Judy was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since 1940, where she served in many teaching and leadership positions. Her love of music and her ability to play piano and organ gave her many opportunities to serve as pianist/organist for over fifty years. Her love of family led her to do extensive family history research. She had been researching since her teen years, authored two books, and was a genealogy consultant in her local church Family will receive friends, 6-8 pm, Friday, December 28, 2007 at Sun City Center Funeral Home, 1851 Rickenbacker Drive, SCC, FL Funeral service 11AM, Saturday, December 29, 2007 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5207 12th St. NE, Ruskin, Florida 33570. In Lieu of Flowers Memorials may be made to Lifepath Hospice House, 3725 Upper Creek Drive, Ruskin, Florida 33573
