Obituary of Joseph Frank

Frank, Joseph J. “Joe” 95 of Sun City Center, FL, passed away peacefully, September 28, 2022.

Joe was born at home to parents Joseph and Anna (Visocky) Frank and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. Joe served two tours of duty in the US Army. Joe married Margie Sudolnik, 21 July 1951. They remained devoted to one another until Margie’s passing in 2016. Joe was a devout Catholic, and a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church where he served on Parish Council and as a Eucharistic Minister. A member of the Knights of Columbus #7282, Joe served two terms as Grand Knight, Faithful Navigator, Deputy Grand Knight, Warden, Lecturer, and Recorder. Joe was famous for his successful fundraising techniques where money was raised to benefit Vocations, Mary Martha House, and Disaster Relief to name a few.

 Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Margie, and sister Marie Metz. Survivors include his two daughters, Jane (Roger) Frank Hafner and Joanie (Edmund) Frank Swartz, a son, James (Melissa) Frank, five grandchildren, Andrew Frank, Emily Rader, Erin Jadallah, Anna Marotti, and Maggie Hafner, six great grandchildren, Bri, Connor, Isla, Jackson, Lincoln, and Angelina.

Celebration of life will be 10 AM, Wednesday, October 19, Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 702 Valley Forge Boulevard, Sun City Center, Fla.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Joe’s name to the Knights of Columbus #7282 or Sun Terrace, 105 Trinity Lakes Dr, Sun City Center, FL 33573.
