Obituary of Wendy Cooper

Wendy Heniken Cooper, 63, of Ruskin, FL, passed away May 16th,2022. Born in Medina,OH on December 1st,1958 and raised in Westerville,OH. She graduated c/o 77 from Westerville South.

She was preceded in death by her Mother, Reba Heniken.  Wendy is survived by her Father, Robert L Heniken (Rocky Corpus); Her Husband and High School Sweetheart,Dale E.Cooper; Her son, Joe Cooper (Ashley Cooper) and her daughter, Stefanie Cooper (Lisa Worthy) . Her brother Mike Heniken (Debbie Hawthorne, Nathan Heniken), Her Sister Laurie Decatur (Tom Decatur, Ben Decatur,  Samantha DeGoey), her Sister in Law, Debbie Gilmore (Bruce Gilmore, Brian Gilmore, Eric Gilmore) and the light of her life, her Grandson, Presley. 

Wendy was known for her genuine giving spirit and her love for others. She loved her family more than anything. Throughout her beautiful life, she wore many hats, but her favorite was always being a Wife, a Mother and a Grandmother. 

Her beautiful smile and charming spirit will be remembered by all who knew her. 

Wendy's Visitation was held Sunday May 22, 2022 from 1:00pm-3:00pm at Sun City Center Funeral Home;  1851 Rickenbacker Dr., Sun City Center, FL 33573

Memorial Service was held on Monday May 23,2022 at BaySide Community Church; 3375 Fruitville Rd Sarasota,FL at 10:00am.
