Obituary of Ruth Ann Stark

Ruth Naville Stark, age 78, passed away peacefully at Sun City Hospice House on December 22, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Servanus and Leona (Stumler) Naville, her youngest son Michael and Son-in-law Andrew Mounce. Ruth is survived by her adoring husband of 56 years, Ronald C. Stark, her children Kellie Mounce (Andrew), Craig Stark (Karen), Renee Barnett (Rick) and her brother Jim Naville (Linda). She was the grandmother extraordinaire of Michael, Rachel, Joshua, Rebekah, Sarah; Angelica, Caelynn; Mason, Connor, Allison, and Lauren.

Ruth had a smile that lit up her face and she brought joy to all who knew her. She was born and raised in New Albany, IN and graduated from Providence High with 2 years at the University of Indiana. Marriage brought her to Louisville, KY for 20 years, then to Florida, to Georgia, and back to Florida. Ruth worked as an executive secretary in the roofing materials industry. She and her husband enjoyed sightseeing through Europe and Italy. A retirement job with the cruise lines allowed her to bring smiles to the many travelers. Ruth will be remembered as a wonderful wife, loving mother and grandmother, and loyal friend to many. She will be immensely missed but remembered by so many fun and loving memories.

A Mass for Ruth will be held December 29th at 10 am at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with a viewing and reception immediately following at the Sun City Center Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to a charity close to your heart.
