Obituary of Nevlin Goad

Nevlin V. Goad went home to meet her Lord and Savior on September 26, 2021.  She was 82 years old, born on June 12, 1939 in San Antonio, Texas.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of 62 years, Rev. Rance Goad.  Nevlin is survived by her daughter, Catherine (David) Lyons of Sun City Center, Florida, a son, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Goad of Sevierville, Tennesee.  Also surviving are Nevlin’s granddaughters Kimberly (Sol) Gamertsfelder, and Stephanie Lyons and her fiancé, Noah Johnson and two great grandchildren, Liam and Emersyn Gamertsfelder. 

Also surviving Nevlin are her sisters, Kathleen Corbitt, Sybil Long and O’Dell Williams.  Two brothers, Alvin McMichael and Leon McMichael, have gone home to Glory before her.
