Obituary of John Joseph Garcia

John Joseph Garcia passed away on Saturday, August 8 in Sun City Center, FL. Born in Bronx, NY, John joined the military at 17 years old. He served in the EOD Division of the US Air Force for 28 years.

John was preceded in death by his parents, John and Francisca Garcia. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sara Garcia and her three children, Mark (Silvana Papa) Smith, Kimberly (George) Donaldson and Sherri (Frank) Hohenhouse, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. John is also survived by his sister, Carmen Garcia.

John was a retired USAF Veteran and will be laid to rest at the Florida National Cemetery at Bushnell on Wednesday, August 26.
