Obituary of Dale Reinhart
Dale Kenneth Reinhart 93, father of 9, Grandfather of 20, Great grandfather of 21, Great-great grandfather of 1 & WWII Veteran died peacefully at his home March 1, 2019. On Valentine's Day 1947 he married the love of his life Betty Lou and they remained cherished partners for 69 1/2 years. He received his Masters degree in Music Education from the Minneapolis College of Music in 1956. He had a magical voice and could have entered the opera but instead taught music in school before entering the Civil Service as the Music Therapy Director at the VA mental hospital in Marian Indiana. He eventually retired as the Director of Recreation at Macdill AFB.
He was a lover of life, charming, witty, fun, knowledgeable, giving and steadfast. A loyal servant of GOD, Country, and family. He was truly a part of the Greatest Generation.
He is survived by his 9 children Joanne Reinhart Kelly, Cathy Kennelly (Kevin), John Reinhart (Nancy), Jeanette Stevens (Cecil), Frank Reinhart (Nicole), Richard Reinhart (Diana), Joe Reinhart (Jackie), Mary Seaman (Steve), Anthony Reinhart and their families.
A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 10am at Nativity Catholic Church in Brandon, Florida. Dale will be laid to rest with his wife Betty Lou at The Florida National Cemetary in Bushnell on March 15, 2019 at 11am.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital.
