Jim,
It is so hard for me to believe that Karen has left us. Nothing can replace the amazing person I knew as your wife, and my dearest long time friend. Karen was a unique individual, strong willed, and determined to accomplish whatever she set her mind to do. She enjoyed life, and remained positive even when she realized that the inevitable end was near. I will surely miss the presence of a truly wonderful, loveable and kind person. I know you are going through a very difficult time, but know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. I am deeply saddened, and truly sorry for your loss. Take care my dear friend.
With love,
Janelle Harrigill

I was so sad to read about Karen in the paper.
Jim, you and Karen were some of the finest and nicest people I ever met.
Your cruises and trips were sounded so exciting and fun, but I had more fun watching your beautiful pugs, especially Mushu and Taipan. Your beautiful home was full of life and the birds and squirrels were fun to watch.
Karen was so beautiful!
Please accept my condolences.
She will be missed and has touched many people
