Community Blood Drive
April 29. 2020
10 AM-3 PM
You're invited to join us for a community blood drive with OneBlood!
The blood mobile will be at Sun City Center Funeral Home from 10 AM-3 PM on Wednesday, April 29.
1851 Rickenbacker Dr, Sun City, FL 33573
All donors will receive a free OneBlood insulated water bottle and a voucher for a free sandwich from McDonald's.
OneBlood is a non-profit organization that supplies our local hospitals like South Bay in Sun City, All Children’s in Tampa and ALL the VA’s in Florida. Blood has an expiration date, so once the blood is collected, it is tested then turned around in 2 days and delivered to the hospitals.
Every 1 donation can save up to 3 lives. For example, if we have 10 donors and collect 10 units of blood, that can save up to 30 people!
As long as you are 16 years old and up, you can donate. There is no age limit.
Medication and travel list change on a weekly basis from the FDA. If you have a question about medications or places you have traveled, the best thing to do is go to the bus the day of the drive, so they can look it up for you.
